We’re extremely lucky. We have two. In South Africa. May I tell you about them?

Originally, we had one. In the Marina at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. As is usual with husbands and wives, what Rosie wanted was different to me. Who do you think won?

We have this delightful seventh floor, two bedroomed/two bathroomed (en suite) apartment with front views over the harbour, and rear views to Table Mountain. You right in the centre of where what’s best happens. In actual fact, they call the best address in Africa!! Everything you want is close to you. And it’s our home.

Just under an hour away is my dream. Far Horizons Farm. This is a full working farm which specialises in wine but where we also have agricultural crops as well. It is beautifully set in Voor Paardeberg nestling under the mountain.

The scenery is quite stunning. Even I have become fascinated by the amazing collection of birds and wildlife on the large dam. Especially in the morning. They even include some endangered species like Blue Cranes. We also have Quaggas, sheep, goats, springbok etc. Take a look for yourself.
